AFG Lancaster dance up a storm

Inspirational dancers from the Adult Disability Group including four people supported in AFG Lancaster performed a small show at Morecambe library.

Nigel, Brian, Paul and Keith, who had been training with Morecambe dance teacher Tracey Austin from the Dance Factory on Regent Road for the last year, really enjoyed the experience.

Davina Simm, Team Leader at AFG Lancaster said: “I’m very proud and delighted they took part in the show. The local paper, the Visitor, featured the dance show so it was great to see their hard work in print!”

The team also appeared in the Lancaster Stage Dance Festival earlier this year where they won a third and fourth place in the Cabaret Group section.

The group classes are held every Thursday morning at St James’ Church hall in Heysham.
