Eyes down at the AFG Community Café

How’s your Bingo Lingo?

After the successful launch of the AFG Community Café on Tuesday 10th December 2013, AFG Rochdale is hosting a Bingo Afternoon 11am-3pm on 21st January 2014 in Rochdale.

To mark our 21st anniversary this year, AFG has unveiled a celebratory programme of local community events including the opening of a weekly café at Thrum Hall Methodist Church, Thrum Hall Lane, Rochdale.

Joanne Ward, Team Leader at AFG Rochdale and lead on the AFG Community Café said: “We have lots of lovely things planned.  The café will open at 11am serving tea, coffee, juice and cakes.

Gerry Alderton, a Support Worker in Rochdale, is kindly donating her time to come along on the day and give manicures and paint nails.

Bingo will start at 1.00pm with all eyes on the star prize of chocolate!  All we ask is for a small donation for bingo, nail painting and refreshments to go towards Thrum Methodist Church and the café running costs.

We’ll also have a pool table available which has been kindly donated to us by Mike at the Squires Pool and Sports Bar in Lancaster. We’re overwhelmed by the community spirit in making the AFG Community Café a success.”

So if you’re good with numbers then come and try your luck at AFG Rochdale’s Community Café Bingo Afternoon. We hope to see you there!
