High praise for AFG Rochdale from local family
A team of our Support Workers at AFG Rochdale have been praised by a local family for the personalised support and care they provided for their sister Avril, who sadly passed away on 29 June 2013.
Sister, Mavis and husband, Stuart Brand thanked the team by saying: “Words cannot express our thanks for all the love, kindness and care shown to Avril during the past three weeks, from the AFG Rochdale Team. She has thoroughly enjoyed being supported by AFG over the last two and a half years and we want to thank you for everything you have done for our little sister Avril.”
Anthony Szuminski, AFG Rochdale Team Leader said: “The team – Colette, Joanne, Carmel, Tom, Janice, Ray, Les and Sandra have gone the extra mile, showing great dedicated and commitment to supporting Avril and her family at her end of life.”
A family in Rochdale have recently praised AFG Support Workers at Arnside Drive, Rochdale for the support and care they had provided for Avril Kershaw who sadly passed away on 29th June 2013.
Team Leader, Anthony Szuminski, has described the dedication by the Support Workers as “outstanding” adding that “The Team – Colette Edmondson, Joanne Holt, Carmel O’Rourke, Tom Judge, Janice Paul, Ray Dyson, Les White and Sandra Thomas have all worked alongside her family going the extra mile to help Avril in her final years of her life”.
He added: “Avril brought a ray of sunshine to whoever she came into contact with; staff will miss her infectious smile and laughter. She was an absolute pleasure to be around. Sleep tight Avril.”
