Let’s Mo! Keith supports Movember
As you’re probably aware from recent media, MOVEMBER is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer.
Mo Bros, supported by their Mo Sistas, start Movember (November 1st) clean shaven and then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache.
Mo Bro Keith, a Service user from Wigan, became a walking billboard for men’s health raising funds and awareness in honour of his dad.
“My name is Keith, and I’m a Service User from Wigan. I participated in the MOVEMBER CAMPAIGN in 2012 in support of prostate cancer, which my father sadly died of as a consequence in 2005. I enjoyed the campaign, it was a lot of fun and I did it for my dad if nothing else, but I also managed to raise £18 and it would have made my father proud. All the money counts and thank you very much to everyone who sponsored me, much appreciated!
I was quite used to the muzzy at the end, (it was starting to grow on me!!!). However, just after midnight on 1st December it had to meet its maker and was buried at sea (well, down the sink!).”
Well done Keith, we all think you’re tash-tastic!
